For me, I received this email on NOV 7 and ECAS changed SAME day to DM. it all varies some people received ppr email without ecas changing and some people had to wait 1-3months for ppr.

usually they ask for copy of passport, 2 photos and bio data. I am from visa exempt country and they asked me to provide actual passport which was very unusual. they will send you an email asking to provide the document and will give copr after.
