I have the same problem when I dial from US. But I have found a workaround. When the system says "transferring to CIC" keeps pressing 1111111 quickly. Stop once you hear a long silence. This will override the message you are getting and you will get connected to CIC. Let me know if it works.

Hi, I have applied using a Law Office in Canada. They have not received any communication from CIC yet. I don't think they have even bothered to see if the DD has been cashed. I think they will let me know once they receive the PER email. So I guess wait goes on for me. Viranee
