Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

hi Chelz, so sorry to hear about your refusal. From what I know, vehicles do not matter much in assets. More so if they're on loan, no matter how many percent they're already paid, because they are still considered liabilities (learned this from my consultant, too). What's your family...

Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

Yeah, he already emailed the embassy. But there seems to be a slower response time if the app was sent via non-PIASI courier.

The VO will wonder what you've been doing for the 4 years you were studying Nursing. You must be able to justify this gap on your SoP. If you do choose to declare your BSN, you can write a strong SOP explaining your shift of career and what you plan on doing after graduation from the Automotive...

Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

75k seems too much, Paul. We're using a Canadian-based consultant and she only charges 1k CAD (around 40k PhP). And even so, it's easy to apply on your own. Colleges and Unis have pretty straightforward application procedures; as well as applying for the Study Permit from the Embassy. The only...

Applying for student visa inCanada after rejection in Australia

I also have a related experience. I failed a post grad course three years ago because I dropped it without clearance since it wasn't in line with my undergrad. But since then I have established a career in line with my undergrad course(where I got excellent marks) and the course I will be...

    ONLINE APPLICATION (PHILIPPINES)

The only info I've seen where it clearly states 40+ days for online applications are for Applications Made Inside Canada. Link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/temp.asp I'm applying this week by paper for September '13 intake. *crossing fingers*

Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

Has anyone tried applying for a co-op work permit? My course includes a co-op but I start on Fall 2013 and the co-op will yet be on the Jan 2014 term. Should I apply for the co-op permit together with my study permit? Do they only need some sort of letter of endorsement from the school?

    Introducing You to Co-op Program

I start in Fall 2013, but my Co-op term isn't until Winter 2014. Should I already apply for the co-op permit together with my study permit? My LoA doesn't say anything about a co-op, but in my fee invoice and receipt, it shows that I've already paid for the co-op fee in the winter term.

I also start on September 3rd, but in Sheridan. Haven't submitted yet, still taking my time in preparing the papers. I already got a tourist visa refusal last year because of weak country ties that's why we're getting a consultant based in Canada this time. Good luck to us! :)

Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

Hi. We kinda have the same sitch since my whole family are PRs of Canada. And from what opinions I've got from the forum, it can go either way. The most important thing is you just have to prove strong ties to the Philippines. What's your profile and when are you starting school? What kind of...

    Introducing You to Co-op Program

Thanks Rossei, that was a very informative post. So co-op terms are separate from study terms? Like you don't have to attend formal classes if that particular term is focused on co-op? Also, about the student wages, I am not sure what the Steps 1-8 mean.

hello. Is it necessary for bank funds to reach 10k CAD in one bank? or can I submit multiple statements from different banks that will add up to 10k CAD? Do I also have to submit the IMM 5257 (App for TRV) Form?
