I'm sorry I made a mistake. It's the medical that determines the date for the visa exp. So I am wondering if there's a way to extend that date.

Did they ask you for more documents? Or maybe you realized now that you missed something? Either way they can figure it out. Any missing docs that they request from you that need to be sent will cause delays. I'm not sure if you're app will go back in queue, or get put on hold. Wish I could help...

For future reference, I suggest when sending very important documents through mail services, makes sure it's registered and gets a signature when someone from where you're sending it to picks it up. That's what I did. I sent mine with Canada Post and also added insurance of $100 which costed me...
