the reason is just an excuse to reject the visa .. there are couple of reasons which might have affected your application which resulted in the rejection 1. You aren't PR yet 2. You don't have good financial situation (Notice of assessment from last 2 years)

sorry to say but your visa application wouldn't get accepted and there are couple of reasons for that 1. You aren't PR yet 2. Your income isn't that good In my personal opinion (and experience), I don't think that your parents visa would be excepted. I could be wrong but thats what i know

I just got my mother's visa approved for 8 years. In the returning package, embassy hasn't put any letter so i am not sure that is there any time-limit before which my mother has to absolutely enter Canada ? Or is it okay, she can enter first time even after 7 years ?

so Ottawa office asked me for my medical (Again. my pervious medical expired) + personal history from the day i appleid for PNP and Immigration fee ($490). I submitted all of these documents by March 10, 2013. Does anyone know how long would they take it from here to process ?
