Sorry to hear that you have to pass through this...We did a judge hearing two weeks ago and the hearing went so well. Whenever I call CIC they refuse to give any info with regard to the decision. How long did it take you after the hearing to know about CIC appeal? I wish you all the best with...

If your son is a minor he doesn't need to attend the oath ceremony and he will get the citizenship when you get it.

Hello all, The hearing went very well and the judge was very sympathetic towards our unjustified long waiting...he asked for a couple of docs which we sent a few days ago. I called CIC today and they refused to give me any updates that might have happened..and said the judge has 60 days...but...

Unfortunately I wasn't careful enough when I filled out the application to make the calculations accurately. Also, we thought, and it was a mistake, that even if we are short of a number of days, it won't matter since we are still in Canada and won't move anywhere else.

During the interview the office didn't ask any challenging questions and didn't show any concern....she just said "wait for a letter from CIC to submit more docs" and I told her that I have every single doc you might need with me now...she insisted "wait for the letter.
