congrats roxaida.. just wondering why it took them a long time to mail ur OWP since it was approved on april 10,2011? to God be the glory..

with our OWP can we also have part time jobs with that? can we have two or more employers? tanx and Godbless

@ NIPA i did not ask in how many days. the agent just told me it should be in the mail. but she did not tell me specific number of days. I will just wait for it to come. hehe Godbless

thanks NIPA. no problem. I was just wondering also because mine was approved last Dec.3 and I have no idea when that OWP is going to be in my hands. I hope it wont also take like 7 months for me to receive it. but anyway, I cant complain. many caregivers here even endured longer waiting time...

@miseria : not yet. it was just approved last Dec.3 so i think it would take a couple of weeks before i get it. lets just wait and see how real this OWP is. Godbless

Girls and Boys! Don't forget our fight it's still on. The stage 2 can turn a nightmare. I'm very skeptical about all this OWP releases. I'm glad but I'm afraid after all that happen and all those months waiting. Please who is new here sign up the petition and send to your friends and family...

@NIPA : I think its best you call CIC and talk to an agent. so that all your questions rgarding your work permit will be answered and clarified. Godbless

@NIPA: the automated voice message tells you that you work permit application was approved MAY 2011? and you did not receive any letter rgarding your OWP? you can talk to an agent if you want to clarify things. just follow the instructions. and you may also do everything that you just did...

@NIPA try calling CIC call 1-888-242-2100 then choose option 1 choose option 2 choose option 7 enter your client ID number enter your birthyear and listen to what the automated voice message tells you about the status of your application for work permit.. Goodluck and Godbless

@roxaida I really have no idea about the PR approval. but at least we get OWP approved and can move on with our lives. many caregivers ahead of us went through a lot before they even got their OWP. We are so blessed.. we didnt get to experience a lot of stress, uncertainty,felt discouraged, and...

roxiada I am confident u will also have the same gudnews this xmas. the agent told me that this has been a new move by CIC because it takes a while for us to get our PR's, that is why they are giving the OWP the soonest.

wow I will try to call later. just to confirm also if it indeed is OWP. Yup I went home and got married last march 2011. My wife is now included in my application for PR.
