Dear All, On 12 July 2012, the VO in Hong Kong finally asked me to send in my passport to issue the PR visa. I just sent in my passport on 16 July, and hopefully they will return my passport with the PR visa soon. Good luck to you all! The whole process actually takes less than 10 months...

According to the CIC website, you need to get a local police certificate as long as you live there for more than 6 months. So, you may want to check with the police station at the Saudi Arabia and see how you can get the police certificate.

Can you please share your timeline of getting the FBI Background Check? How long does it take? By the way, when they send you the FBI report, do they use a FBI envelop or just an ordinary envelop? Please advise.
