i've experienced the same situation , ihave been in canada for over 15 months and for some reason me and my family did two medicals exams , but after the second one it took less than a month for the passports request from the embassy and two xtra weeks to get them back with the visa stamped , so...

very silly at any stage..................???????

good luck is not easy to get a job in canada not from personal opinion but what i see people goes thru. i started working the second day i arrived but a had an employment offer.

it could take more than 10 months , it happened to me personally. i did my medicals twice due to the fact that the first medicals expired( they are only good for one year )so they requested a second medicals exams for me and my family wasted time and moneyso do not make any plans till you get...

walk in clinics do accept patients without a health card, they ussually charge anywhere from $60 to $75 dollars per visit i went thru the same before getting my health card. hospitals ( ER) they asked for money at front and their rates are around $700.00 but they can see you without the money...

I landed with my family on september 27th and be prepare becase the immigration officer at the border (seattle - vancouver )counted every single dollar i had .they even asked me if my 14th year old dauther had any money with her. to tell you the true i was getting a little bit worry two officer...

bro. i got my visa and it took 14 days for the status to change from IN PROCEESS to DECITION MADE , it does not make a difference..

did second medicals exams , and i got the passports request last week , in the letter that i got it tells me that they are ready to finalized my application , CIC office also letting me know that my visa will expire june 24th 2011.good luck
