Hi! I also heard the same, that this tracker update indicates the comprehensive background check. What do you see in your GC key in the background check? "We are processing..." Or "Not applicable"?

Thank you for sharing! Did you have the line In the tracker "Activity Status updated: Background Verification"? And do you maybe remember what was the last background check status in the GC key: not applicable or we are processing?

Hi everyone! How do you know the start date of the security screening? Do you see it in a pr tracker or should we order gsmc notes to get this information?

Per what I saw statistics is vary here. I saw a post somewhere in the forum when someone got PPR 1,5 month after that. My colleague has had this status since November or December 2023 without any updates.

I applied in the end of September, medical was marked as completed on December 13, 2024 with the expiration date in the past (October 2022). In mid January 2024 expiration date was updated to January 2025.

Hi! Yes, I did. My old medical was accepted, medical is "completed" in the tracker now with the expiration date in January 2025. I did my old medical in the end of 2021 for the work permit. However, I saw cases here where IRCC asked for re-medical in similar cases. So no 100% guarantees here.

Yes, I did. They answered "Sorry, we see that your application is more than 6 month old, it may happen, please give officers more time. Nothing is required from you".

Same story. It becomes harder and harder each day. I have even started to do more fitness just to keep my mind and body busy. Otherwise I ruminate every day about this long waiting... It's exhausting. Hope that you will get any updates soon! It will give me some hope as well.

It depends. I saw some cases here where people received pprs several days after. We did re-medical 3 weeks ago and no updates after that.

I had the same situation for my spouse. He did an upfront exam in August, medical was shown as passed till mid March. In mid March medical was changed from completed to in progress in the tracker and he received a medical exam request. Redid medical and it is shown as passed again with a new date.

Joining this thread to see that someone will get a positive result. We also received the same request for my spouse a month ago, so looks like the long waiting is ahead...

Yes, I got two different BILs. One for me, one for my spouse.

I'm also waiting for the background check to be completed. AOR September 29, 2023 Eligibility passed in February Received additional docs request two weeks ago, submitted documents one week ago. Vancouver is a primary office, Edmonton is a second one.

I have the opposite, Vancouver as the main and Edmonton as a secondary. Received ADR last week after 5 month of waiting (Schedule A, Family information and Travel history).

Hi! I received the same request for my spouse again. He provided the upfront exam with the application but they ask to take an exam again. Him only, not me. Did your spouse and baby did the med exam once again and that's it?
