    Biometrics.

In my case, I actually received the biometrics request for PR the day after I gave biometrics for work permit. So I had to do it again. They scan your biometrics instruction letter at the appointment and your application is updated automatically. If you get biometrics done for PR i'm not sure...

    Biometrics.

Hi, I had the same thing happening to me. Basically, if you get biometrics for work permit first, they don't accept it for PR application and you will have to do it again. But if you get biometrics for PR you can uses the same for the work permit and only do it once.

how long takes to get a credential id of PR portal after you're approved for PR?

There are people who got P1 mid December and are only receiving their P2 now. You just got P1 a week ago, so you might still have to wait a little bit for P2

Virtual landing - when allowed to leave Canada

Hi, One more question: Would I be able to travel outside Canada (to Europe) and come back (not via USA) if I have received portal 1 but not portal 2 yet? If I reply to the portal 1 email to let them know the dates, can they delay portal2 until I get back? When does the virtual landing process...

Virtual landing - when allowed to leave Canada

Thank you! Just to clarify, once I've been through the virtual landing process, the only way to come back directly to Canada is as a PR with PR card (or PRTD)? So they won't let me return as temporary resident in the mean time either? I have visitor record and work permit, or is that not valid...

    June 2023 Inland Spousal Sponsorship

I also have pretty much the same timeline. I think the COPR always expires at the same time as the medical exam, but you probably just received it around the time of the first portal email. The letter you got about meeting the eligibility requirements is the AIP. it doesn't actually say...

    Apply for OWP for spouse

I think I've read from other people here who have submitted a paper application, but not sure. Do you have a phone? You can simply take pictures of the required documents and upload them. Don't need a scanner.

Query Regarding the Biometrics of Spousal Sponsorship

Hi, unfortunately you'll have to get biometrics done again. The policy changed earlier this year, and if you've submitted biometrics before for any other application, you'll have to do it again for PR application. Same happened to me :-/ (It's ok the other way around though: if you do...
