A bit of a rare case.

So I applied on 28th March and got my biometrics done on 4th of April. I'm posting this thread to ask something as I personally think that my case is a bit special? I've applied for the Canadian Study Permit for my Flight Training and am an Indian citizen. I applied via the SDS stream on 28th of March and got my Biometrics updated on 4th of April. The interesting thing about my case is that my whole family has Japanese residence-ship/ visa/ Gaijin Card as they are called in Japan and my father is a PR holder with his own business in Japan. I've spent a fair bit amount of time in Japan in the last few years and I've subsequently attached these documents with my visa application to portray my ties to both India and Japan and I've also mentioned in my SOP that I was unable to pursue my Flight Training in Japan due to language restrictions and thus had to look elsewhere.

So my question here is will my possession of a Japanese visa impact my application negatively or positively? I also have a very long travel history.

If you applied SDS then you applied from India so you are showing ties to return to India. SDS is about where you are a legal resident, not citizenship.

I am currently residing in India and showed my familial background in both the countries. With the way me and my consultant have structured my application, we have put equal emphasis on both of my "home" countries and my financial ties have been shown all in Indian Bank accounts and currencies.

What do you mean equal emphasis? If applying through SDS from India, you are showing your ties to return to India. Assume you had PAL when you applied.

Of course, I had a PAL when I applied but that's where the "rare" case comes in. Half of my familial ties are in JAPAN and not in INDIA. Half of my family is currently NRI except me and my mother. I can only show the property and financial assets that we have in India and I've done the same but what I can't show is my family's presence that's where I had to add the "Japanese" part. My father has his whole business established in Japan and that's where my training will be financed from. I can't just lie in my application that I will return to my parents and siblings in India when they're not here in the first place. Also, my passport is literally bombarded with Japanese stamps including other countries.
Lastly, my question was what kind of influence will a long and extensive travel history have on my application which was never answered.

How old are you? You are single so you really don’t have family ties. Your father having a business in Japan is not relevant to you.

Are these properties in your name? Same with financial assets since you use the term “we”. If not in your name then not a tie.

Travel history is to the US, UK, AUS and NZ. If you have travel to those countries, then Canada can ensure that you have not overstayed or abused immigration laws.

I don't see how "special" is your case.
You are an adult (assuming that you are over 18 years old). Your siblings and your parents aren't your tied to home country.
I don't see having them living in India vs Japan makes any difference in your case.

As for your travel history to Japan. It's fine as long as you never overstay and is travelling with a valid visa. They may request police check if you stayed extensive time there.

Update, Received my Passport Request today after a week.
Thanks a lot to everyone who took their time and effort to reply to my senseless forum. I haven't really gone through these things before and once again, thanks to everyone who replied.
