Help! Work Permit Holder invites student sister

Hi, I am on my work permit and my younger sister who is now a university student in our home country is planning to visit me and stay for 1 month during summer vacation. Should I put the purpose of visit as family visit or tourism? How risk is the application? ( I will support her financially and she will go back to finish her study.)

Thanks for the reply. Yes, my parents can support as well. I wonder what the risk is? I prepared my sister’s enrollment certificate and return-to-school verification. Also, should I put as family visit or tourism?

How old is sister? If under 22, then include parents bank statements to support visit. You can state family visit.

Yes, she is under 22. She is mainly coming for touring around BC and Canada with me tho. I wonder why you recommend family visit?

Because you are her sister. Is she not coming to see you? If so, it is a family visit. If you are providing invitation letter as her sister then it is a family visit.
