I would never postpone anything if CIC tells me to do something, except if it was very serious. You might get an RQ if you start making demands to CIC... If you postpone stuff for things that are not very serious, CIC might postpone your application by a few years! So just wait to see if you...

I got it less than 3 weeks before my test. Exactly. Start studying the book when you receive it. Read it at least once. Re-study it a few times once in a while. Then when you do get the invitation, you wont have to study the book as if you have never seen it before. That way you can better...

I don't know if they check them, but I kept mine, just in case. If you don't have enough space to store the papers, scan them and store them in digital form in at least two spaces (for example your computer and a cloud).
