    Thread for outland Buffalo applicants!

get there at 7-7:15am. if you ask any security where to go, they will tell you to wait in Tim Horton's. the guard from the consolate will come down at 7:30am and bring you up so you are in line for opening at 8am. (I did this, and was 4-5th in line, but still got out at 10am)

    Thread for outland Buffalo applicants!

I just printed out a document (from MS Word) in this format, and handed it loosely with all my other documents: Last Name: xxx First Name: xxx Middle Name: xxx Height: xxx Eye Colour: xxx It was probably overkill, but they had gotten my middle and last names swapped in the PPR, so it...

I don't know. they asked for my date of landing, so if you know that in advance, perhaps it's worth letting them know. Question@cic.gc.ca

Adoptive (although not legal) family member?

I am preparing an application to sponsor my parents. I have a question about "adoptive" non-accompanying family members. My mother was born in 1945, and her parents divorced soon after. The man whom I consider my grandfather married my grandmother just a few years later, and raised my mom...

    Thread for outland Buffalo applicants!

I received AOR and PPR by email, but when they lost the RPRF and requested it be paid (even though I had already paid it), it was by snail mail. then it got lost in the mail + postal strike, and ended up delaying us months.

Thanks! And, another hint: for a better spot in line, try to sit or stand as close to the door to the escalators (NOT the elevators) as possible. :)
