Like other smaller communities, the availibility of part-time jobs are not as good as larger cities but the cost of living is lower. What is the part time job scenario there?
And, do we get jobs there itself after our degree or do we have to move to bigger cities like Vancouver to find a good job?

migrate to another province for work or usually the PR in smaller provinces are more attractive. It depends on what you are studying, for example most business and marketing jobs would be in the bigger cities in Ontario or Quebec. If you are in the health sector, you will probably find jobs in most places. So, what do most students do? Do they go back to their home country?

Yes the university has a good reputation here and is cheaper than most universities. I can't comment about work because I don't know your employment history.
