Okay great! You got the adr as soon as you entered IP2 or after a while?

I have been in IP2 since a week now and no adr and no other movement, don’t know what’s happening.
AOR 9 here and I got a ghost update on the 3rd. I'm assuming that was the start of background check because I had actually been on IP2 since the very start.

From the trend I've read here, it seems like BG starts around 4 days before deadline.. Hope we get movement in 2 days.. Let's keep on praying!
It seems so, but mine didn't move after that... :( I wonder if having lived in 3 countries and traveled to more than 10 is delaying things at this point :p

Hey peeps!!

Just wanted to update that I got my passports back today. Went to VFS Delhi on 25th April. Under processing on 26th April. Application on my Cic login was updated to Approved on May 13th. Passports dispatched from IRCC Delhi on May14th. Delivered to me on May15th.

The COPR issue date shows May 3rd. Don’t know what took them so long
Congrats!!

Good luck

Hi All
Silent reader here with update as follows:
Application for my wife and I. NOC 2161 and 5241. South Africa.
TIMELINE:
* Applied / Entered pool on 20 October 2018 with 489 points
* ITA 29 October 2018
* Submit application 12 November 2018
* AOR / Accepted ITA 13 November 2018
* Medicals Passed 18 December
* Biometrics Request 19 December
* Biometrics submitted 20 December
* Ghost Update 7 May (6 days before 6 month mark!)
* Biometrics Updated to “Completed” 10 May
* PPR 14 May 2019 (email marked as 13 May which is exactly on the 6 month mark)
* Submit Passport 14 May 2019 Pretoria VFS.
* Our VO was Ottawa.

We already have 10 year visitors visas so we booked flight tickets for 12 June. We should receive our passports back within the next 2 weeks with COPR. Is that a fair assumption?

Thanks to everyone for contributing to this group and for answering all my questions without me having to ask any! Hope everyone gets PR soon especially @SithLord !
Congratulations

Hi guys, need your suggestion to proceed further. I'm AOR 29th Nov from India, Med passed on 8th Jan and no progress since then. Given that my Spouse is in Germany for an on-site project, I have applied as a single applicant (Spouse not accompanying, but POF is shown considering 2 family members). Considering the earlier timelines, we assumed that I get PR in 3-4 months and I could move to Canada, find a job and then sponsor my spouse as we wanted to settle in Canada rather than Germany. But, in the current scenario, it is taking longer than 6 months for PR and almost an year for spousal sponsorship applications.
In this regard, my query is- Can I update my profile now, stating that my spouse will accompany me. What will be the impact on my file. To add on, we have all the required documents in place for my spouse to update the profile and our medicals will expire in Sep'19.
Can anyone help me decide on this. @SithLord or @legalfalcon please share your suggestions.

Thanks in advance

I believe it is only applicable to those who were in IP1 from the beginning (after MEP)... but who knows really? We're all just speculating and basing it on trends but we don't really know if that is applicable to all.

Maybe that's a factor. But let's wait and hope for the best!;)

@SithLord
Hi! My parents and my brother have sent me money (10k CAD) to meet the minimum requirement for POF. Now the thing is they had cash and they just transferred it into my account in batches. Basically, it is not that they withdrew money from their bank accounts and moved it to mine.
Now the POF letter template that I have seen in multiple threads talk about Donor's bank account/cheque etc details in the letter which I will not be able to produce. I am a single applicant. Would it be a problem if I mention in my POF letter and LOE as well that the money has been transferred via cash?
Just get a gift deed, that will solve your problem.

@SithLord Yes, I am getting a gift deed, a single letter signed by my mother, but my question is what would the content say as most of the gift deed letter format mentions donor's bank account number from where it has been transferred (from their account where the money was to my account). In my case, they had cash at home and they had just credited all of it to my account. In this case I cannot mention their bank address and account number in the letter since the whole money wasn't in their account.

I think you will have submit some additional documents explaining change in circumstances. Raise a CSE and inform them you want to add your spouse as accompanying

Then just mention you got it as cash and provided the dates when the cash was transferred to your account.
