2018 citizenship applicants IRCC Hamilton

Thanks, Do you know when was your file actually transferred to Hamilton and how many days after that did you receive your test invite?
My file is In Process since May 31st, and after that I remember I called them and they said my file is being processing at Hamilton office, but I do not know exactly when. My test invite came after we contacted our MP, I am not sure it is casualty or really work for us.
Thanks, a couple of people suggested me that i should contact local MP, but after reading a lot of responses online it looks like that MP's can get some information at max and really have no power to influence anyone's case, but anyways it doesn't hurt trying since our case has taken 16 months and we haven't received a test invite yet.
Do you have a specific format which you used?

I sent an email explaining our case, they answered same day and sent us some authorization forms to act in our behalf, after a couples of weeks get back to us telling about our case everything passed, they said if we don't have any nes soon call them again.. in the mid time we received our test invite. So I really don't know it is the MP who help or my multiples calls to CIC.. Try it you never know.. I totally understand your frustration.. We still need to pass the test and hopefully receive the oath soon..
I sent an email to my MP, got a response from her office that they can't help in my case. There is no way we can ask or recommend IRCC to expedite any cases, the only exception is emergency situations like threat to life etc. Her assistant wrote: "At most we can can request for information from IRCC about your file but it's not going to be any different than what you already know"
Sorry to hear that, I think your MP is not going to receive your vote. I don't know what else can help.. It is really frustraiting. I read about a MP in British Columbia that is trying to help in some cases, try to find it.. If I know more I will let you know.
January 2018 applicants, Just passed the test today.
Highlights
•They were 22 applicants doing the test in the morning plus others come just came for the interview 55+.
•They were 3 officers interviewing, mine was very nice, we expend around 3 hours in total.
•Couples were interviewing together.
•They checked all the documents passports, IDs, language proficiency, travel history, If you have travelled to USA bring copy of your I-94 report, just in case any discrepancy.
Other than that, hoping to receive the Oath soon. Keep strong to all the people still waiting is coming. Study!!!

Yes, it is generated with your passport number, they check even we have 1400+ days of physical present.
Do you remember when did you receive your oath invite after the test. We finally got the test invite after 17 months.
Great!!! Finally Congrats!!! We receive the test invitation Feb 20.. test day March 21th.. Oath invitation was very fast.. my husband need to travel for work and he doesn't have passport form his home country.. so in the interview the officer said we will receive and invitation in a couple of days.. next say Decision made, and on March 25.. we have the invitation.. for April 9.. so good luck hopefully ypur officer will be nice too.. be honest and study for the test..
