I wouldn't say your processing is delayed. The processing times posted on the CIC web sites are just estimates. It's quite normal for processing to take several months.

Web sites show current processing time 34 days.is my military service responsible for delayed process.
No - not necessarily. We see plenty of people here wait for months who don't have military backgrounds.

Again - the processing times on the web site are just estimates.

It is quite possible that background checks are being done on your military service.

Depending on your seniority/rank in the army, whether or not you have served during a war or in border areas, or if you handle highly sensitive information, it could take several months for the background checks to be completed.

You can search for a thread by 'Prayas' in the Visitors section

one quick question:
in the processing time tool, should I write the country of my nationality or the country in which I am living and I applied for a visa from there?

You must select the country/territory from where you have applied (i.e. your country of residence)
thanks for your reply, I chose the same; the tool shows 3 weeks duration, however, 6 weeks have already passed and I have not received any reply.

Processing times mentioned on the IRCC website are only estimates. Actual processing can take much longer.

Have you tried linking your application to your online account (if you applied by paper)? That would give you more updates

I've only applied online for a temporary student visa.
Waiting too much really bugs me. :(
