we had an interpreter but they also asked my husband in english to make sure he understands

and most important why coming to canada what is the plan...for your wife to be with your wife to live like a married couple..your plans only to be with your wife and do things wiht her and live with her.
why did you marry...for us was love ..we are of different cultures
what will you do here if you plan to work..that is tricky but my husband said he will be with me live with me and do the things we enjoy (name a few) and because i work 2 jobs he has to find work so i dont have to work so much. if he has a job and what does he do. what will he do here.
how i know he loves me. she should tell them some examples of how and tell them some examples of your good character.
describe what you have in common.things you like to do together.
ah i think thats pretty much it. oh if you are from different cultures make sure your wife knows much about your culture and your country ways.

-Clarify the year of your previous relationships your just mentioned? Why they fall apart? Why you never married your partners from previous
relationships? (details)
-Can you talk about your daughter and her mother?
-How and when you and your wife met? How it developed to romantic and to marriage? (details) When did you start living together?
-When and where did your proposal take place? Was there any witness? What did you do after proposal?
-Talk about your wedding. When and where? who attended your wedding? Was there a reception?
-What did you do after you got married? (my husband talked about our wedding night in a very nice hotel and our honey moon a few months later.)
-When you and your wife discussed about spouse sponsorship? Before of after

What were the reasons for the refusal? IAD thought we needed a full hearing, which could be a day or two. But we got offered a 3 hour time slot and won in 2 hours. Although we had age difference, culture, and religion difference, we had answered all reasons for refusal. As well I visited a total of 9 times. We sent in maybe 40 more photos, phone bills, boarding passes. I did not include money transfers. Evidence was presented. Our lawyer asked a few key questions, both the member and CSBA agent made notes and cross examined me. They both had a list of their own questions. After maybe 20 minutes we took a break for the IAD member to take a call. Then we attempted to call my husband, my phone cards which were working the day before did not work. But the security guard who was manning the phone, just said we will use the government calling card and that worked. Now initially we thought we would ask for an interpreter so no answer lost in translation. Then we changed our minds. So she was only on standby. Good thing too as her Arabic was Lebanon, and my husband didn't understand it. Our lawyer asked him a few key questions, they cross examined, and then each asked their own. After about 15 minutes perhaps, the IAD member asked what the CSBA thought, he said he had no issues, was willing to set aside the refusal. The member said she agreed and told us congratulations. Ours took 2 hours. Some ppl take a day or two.
I find it great reading to go back to old posts from January 2017 til now. Also there is a website where you can read cases like our appeals online. CanLii. I never stopped reading, making notes. The testimony from yourself and spouse goes along way, as long as your answers gel with each others.
They will ask the questions that were just posted. Be prepared for all. They will not ask all.

Yes we had full hearing .. they interview my husband video call for like 3hour and later then me for like 1and half hour after then.end call. .and in break like 20min my husband call me saying we won and after week we received letter that we are allowed.

i want to know if i need my original certificates such as birth certificate, marriage certificates and education certificates those are with cic since early 2016. how i can order and request to cic they can send back to me before the appeal hearing.

All your documents and supporting evidence from Day 1 should be with the CSBA agent. They will be presented as evidence at your hearing.

Either by Skype or in person, ADR Conference is the same. They will still ask the same questions and will ask to present some evidence. I had 450 pages of evidence at my ADR. When I handed all this in, I think both the Appeal department and the immigration thought I was crazy. I had 2 boxes with me to hand in, I had no intentions of losing. I won my ADR on July 31, 2017. Received request for updated forms on September 18.
I thought that there is no way that the immigration will be reading the 400 some pages, I was wrong. I saw my supporting documents and many were highlighted, the immigration officer had a list of questions based on the evidence provided. It is easy to win if you know your case inside and out. I had no lawyer and do not suggest for those that are going through ADR to get one, its expensive and unnecessary.
Galano 1213 guided me with all the questions I had and it made me feel confident. I am very grateful to her and wish her all the best now that her husband is here!

I am living in Brazil with my husband and waiting for my ADR or HERING, I have already sent some documents to prove my marriage, which documents are most important for me to send to immigration?

As proof I sent:
- cover letter addressing all concerns that were listed in our notes
- phone bills
- Skype convo print out
- travel itinerary and passport print out from like 2011
- Digicel top ups (minutes, so we could talk on the phone)
- Facebook posts
- western union reciepts
- post cards
- supporting letters from friends and family (stating that they know about our age difference)
- about 90 photos

I sent them in a binder, divided into sections and numbered so its easier for them to reference. I also sent them a index at the front of the binder.

I called the IAD for a question and the lady was nice enough to tell me how to do the binder. She said to do it just as your blue book is sent. With a title page, index and do not two side print your evidence. Make sure everything is single paged.
