Ali i got visa till 2026 basicaly till validity of passport
Ziastar you should write to them that you have to go to America so you want your passport back but you do not want to withdraw the application. So that your application keeps intact. When you return back you can resubmit your passport. But it can result in refusal, its risky.. so i will advice that you wait for a few days and change your ticket. Thats my advice.
I dont think passport withdrawl ever depends on visa issuance process. Infect embassy does know the circumstances and cooperate in this regards. It tooks 3 months for security and background checks for my 1st US visa application and i withdraw my passport after 40 days. After completion of trip i sent my passport back and got the visa in 40 days, overall they took almost 90 days at that time for screening.
Even Germany too allowed you to take your passport back.
I also came to know with some reference that now a days VFS center is bound to inform the customers about average processing time which is 45 to 60 days. I also need to travel but keep on waiting and taking risk as well.

Can someone helps in providing the link or email where we can send our request of passport withdrawl.

I am not bothered about my visa request as such but things are not looking good. I heard that the visa officers working in Abu Dhabi are mostly indians based. UK did the same thing in Past but then things improved as they induct Pakistanese as a Pakistani better know the situations and papers importance then any other national.

Dear Humza,
You can link your application to online application status to get the real status. For further details you can request seniors in this group.

Hi, guys. I am new here so could someone possibly help me out?

I am thinking of applying for Canada's visit visa. I am a Pakistani student studying in Malaysia and would like to visit family friends in Canada. My uncle can manage a letter of invitation for Dec/January. I think I'll have a strong case as I still have two semesters left in my foundation here so they'd know that I WILL HAVE to come back to Malaysia.

Now the problem is, it's been only two months since I opened my bank account here so can I still use that bank statement? I don't have enough funds in it, only my monthly allowance from home but can manage the funds to put in banj if I can use 2 months worth of bank statement. Besides, I could use my dad's bank statement as it's longer than 6 months but just 1 month ago he withdrew all the money. So even if he does put the money back is it out of the question?

Please help me out. Much appreciated.

Also, my travel history is fairly okay I guess. I have been to USA twice in my teens as well as Europe.

Dear Mr. Sheikh.
After reading your case profile it will be difficult as you dont have a fix source of income. You dont have immediate family ties in canada and you are student in malaysia. Despite that i will suggest you to apply online and take a chance after fulfil all the relevant documentation as per Canadian visa check list.
