25% of my day so far has been hitting refresh on the Canada Post website lol

My previous experiences with Canada post had always been no tracking information until the item was already received...
So I went with Purolator this time, and it is only less than $30 for overnight shipping, while I started seeing tracking updates minutes later

I used to use UPS. But they don't have second day delivery service to Sydney NS. So this time I used Purolator.

Good, I didn't know Purolator have overnight delivery service to Sydney. Anyways I dont think one or two days here and there will make much difference. When they will get 10K apps in a week, I am not sure in which order they will process. May be the one on top will get priority

Whether they start from top or not is unknown, but I am pretty sure the CIC office is not like anybody's laundry room that only has one basket, so, with possibly dozens of boxes for incoming mails, who gets on top is anybody's game

What tracking details did Purolator give after pickup/dropoff, in between that and arriving at the processing centre?

Just interested what to expect, if there's anything in between, or if it goes straight to the final destination.
