August 19 2017 IELTS KEY

Hi All,

I appeared on the exam on 19th in US, below is my score :
LRWS - 7 -9 -7.5- 7.5 , listening section was difficult for me . I am planning to re appear in the exam and hoping to improve listening section score.
I used Cambridge Guide 11 Practice test . However I feel that difficulty level in the real exam was higher than the Patrice tests in Cambridge Guide, My mistake was to take the listening section lightly .

I realize now, that we have Cambridge English Authentic Exam papers 1-12 and need suggestions on how to use these books. I should have practiced from these books at first place I guess.
I have below questions , if you can suggest/answer :
  • Going by publication dates 1-4 series is really old and I am not sure if these books are going to help in current exam.
  • If I have 10 days how far back,you suggest to go for Books - starting 12,11,10 ,9,8..
  • Any suggestions ,tips including any websites or study material I should consider before appearing for the exams apart from the above books for listening section.

try to get IDP practice booklet for ur listening practice

I did all the tests in Cambridge 11, 10. One tip is try to go through the text while they are speaking about instructions, that ways you can be always ahead and understand what is asked quickly
