Greeting to all!
I joined this forum today and like some of my other friends here , am on the verge of submitting my EE profile with me being the primary member. My wife and 3 years kid are my dependents..

Two questions for your kind guidance (may be many would have asked it again and again - so please pardon me)

1. I have experience letter on company letter head (from my various companies), in line with NOC code 2171 for almost9 years. However my work ex is 13 years. In the EE profile should I quote my work history of 9 years only OR do I quote all 13 years. Learnt somewhere that for CIC anything above 6+years is in the same eye... so we should quote only that for which we can get the employer reference letter. I guess my 4 years of remaining experience should go later into PERSONAL HISTORY section (when ITA comes)

2. My wife won't be able to get any of her experience letters from the current and previous employers. She has 10 years experience. Again I learnt from someone that we should avoid writing her experience in EE profile if we cannot get the letter later. Instead we should keep her work ex as 0 now on EE and later add work ex into PERSONAL HISTORY. Moreover I think for a dependent if we are not claiming any Canadian work experience, then anyhow 0 years or 10years for a dependent does not matter.

Friends - how much do you agree with my understanding on point 1 and 2.

Many thanks and good luck to all !!
Hi,

As advised by @Kuchbhi , your understanding is correct. 9 years experiences is more than enough, and you wont get any points for your wife's foreign work experience so leave it out of you EE profile.

regards

Urgent help needed pls , Does FBI PCC become invalid if we travel outside US after receiving the FBI PCC and before submitting the PR application?
I see no reason why it would become invalid.

Hey ppl,

I just submitted my EE. But it doesn't show any thing against CRS Overall score. How long does it take to reflect the CRS score in EE profile?
Upto 24 hrs. Should be showing by now.

Hi Guys, I need urgent help.

I am trying to submit my EAPR. I have ECA for Two or more degrees. In my upload documents sections, there is an upload for certificate of qualification. What should I upload there? I do not have any certification or technical diploma. I have done 2 years bachelors, 2 years Master of computer science degree and 2 yrs Master of business administration degree. I haven't applied for any skilled trade category.
What should I do??
Need help urgently,
Thank you.
Hi,

I dont know if you have figured this out already. You must have answered yes to the question that asks if you have a certificate of qualification in your eAPR. Look for it and change it to NO.

What if I receive PPR and new passport simultaneously ? To be hones, I am expecting this.
Once you get PPR you have 30 day to submit your passport, so you can raise a CSE and submit both the old and new passport with a LOE.

No, you dont. They are only concerned about the account(s) which has(have) the required funds. They are not doing analyzing your net-worth, all they want to know is that you have the minimum required funds. So if the funds are in 1 account only give details of that account in the form of a bank letter which includes the following information:
"Document requirements
  • The applicant should provide an official letter(s) from one or more financial institutions that lists all current bank and investment accounts as well as outstanding debts, such as credit card debts and loans.
    • o The letter(s) must be printed on the letterhead of the financial institution and must include the applicant’s name, the contact information of the financial institution (address, telephone number and email address), the account numbers, the date each account was opened and the current balance of each account as well as the average balance for the past six months.
  • Other documents may also be requested, as necessary."

Hi Friends,

I have a question regarding my ECA. My university's degree is not being evaluated by any of the evaluation bodies except IQAS and I have secured the ECA from them. I am just curious whether if its possible that I receive an ITA and IRCC rejects my ECA?

Thanks :)

Friends, can me and my wife have two separate profiles in the pool. Both being the primary applicants in their respective profiles?

Yes, it does state all, but it is the loans and investments relation to the account(s) with the funds that matters. If you take a close look at the purpose of POF you will see that all they want to know is that you have the minimum requirement.

"Purpose
To confirm whether the applicant meets the low-income cut-off (LICO), assessed by the amount of money they hold compared to the number of people in their family"

It's not to assess you complete financial position. So they will never know what you don't declare.

Hi,

IQAS is one for the accredited bodies, so IRCC will simply check with them to see if your ECA is genuine. If confirmed, they can not reject it.

So you are good to go.

That's a relief. IQAS has already issued the ECA and I have received the hard copy original as well.

Thanks a lot

I see no reason why it would become invalid.
Thanks , And one more related question.
I am a resident of US , traveled to India on a vacation on July 18th. I received ITA on Aug 08th.
I have received my Indian and FBI PCC on Sep 1st at my US address while I am in India.
Now I am planning to submit my application from India as I am planning to stay here until Dec.

Following are the guidelines from CIC:
If your country of residency is USA, then:
  • For the applicant’s current country of residence, the police certificate must have been issued no more than six months before the submission of the e-APR.
If other countries where you have lived:
  • For countries in which the applicant no longer resides, the police certificate must have been issued after the last time the applicant lived in that country.

Following are my concerns:
1) FBI PCC - Since I am a resident of US (I have my driving licence and bank statements there). First rule applies for my US PCC and I should be good as my PCC is issued in less than 6 months.

2)Indian PCC - I received my Indian PCC from Indian embassy in SFO. Here Second rule applies , and I think I am good because I got my PCC on Sep 1st which is after my last visit to my home country which is July 18th. The rule states "police certificate must have been issued after the last time the applicant lived in that country" , but since I am still living in India on Vacation I think my PCC is valid.

Pls advice if there is any risk of my PCC rejection in this scenario?

This is perfectly fine aslong as you submit your application while you are still in India.

So since you will be there until December you are good to go.
