My stream :International Student with Job Offer.
Graduated in May-2017
Application submitted: 19-June-2017
Changed to Assessment : 23-June
Changed to Awaiting information: 7-July
Documents submitted by employer : 12-July
Still Awaiting information :(

Some applicants were also required individual additional information as awaiting information.
After submission, my status has still been in awaiting information. So, I am very stressed.
Do you work in Ontario?

If you work in Canada, sometimes the employer has to convince that he made reasonable efforts to hire Canadians or PR.

It takes time, but at the end, we get what we so much want.

Hey guys,

My OINP Foreign Worker application changed its status to APPROVED. Now I can imagine that there is a long way ahead in order to get my PR.

Is there any way to receive the OINP nomination in Express Profile or for the OINP Foreign Worker stream, the paper-based PR application is the only option?

I've seen that this thread started last month and I will try to contribute with my best.

Cheers

Of course:

NOC 2171
Stream: OINP Employer / Foreign Worker
Application: 07/20/2017
Assessment: 08/01/2017
ADR: 08/09/2017
ADR Answer: 08/15/2017
Approved: 08/18/2017

Now, I don't know what is the next step. Is there any way to receive the OINP nomination in Express Profile or for the OINP Foreign Worker stream, the paper-based PR application is the only option?

Thanks for the timeline. I'm right behind you. It is good to know.

Yes, it has to be paper based.

When you click on the IRCC link on that page, it says that provincial nominees go through a different process, not EE.

The officer who was assessing my OINP application asked the last 24 months of pay stubs from my Brazilian employer + the last 3 income tax with the receipts. It took a week to get those docs translated by an ATIO Certified Translator + $800 bucks. I already had presented my letter of employment from the company that I worked for 8 years in Brazil.

At the end, I believe that it worth since I got my application approved.

Ohhh! It can take up to 18 months. But let's keep up and hopefull that we may get the PR as soon as possible.

What's your NOC and timeline?

Hey,
What is OWP?

My status has been also in awaiting information. MY employer was required whole bunch of company documents on 7 July and
submitted those on 12 July. But my employer had not received the acknowledgement of receipt for one and half month. As well, I had not received any email from the Immigration office after awaiting information, so I did not know what's going on.

Finally, I could reach out to some officer this weeks gone after trying to contact several times. I got the AOR.

It is so ridiculous.
Hi jjang

I have same story like you. I submitted all requested additional documents on July 31st but still now I did not received AOR.

First time I called after one week I submitted documents and lady on phone she said we have your response and
I called and asked, there was lady on phone and she said we have your response and we send letter to your employer for requesting to submit additional documents.
I contact my employer but they said we did not received any email from OINP.

Next day I called again and talked with same lady, she recognized me and told me sorry about that but we did not send any email to your employer but OINP officer is preparing letter for your employer. I asked her what kind of letter, she said I dnt know.

I emailed them saying I did not received AOR after week I submitted all requested documents but I dnt not received any reply yet.

Next week again I called her and asked her that why I did not received any AOR. She said I dnt know why you did not received AOR! And then I asked her why my status is still awaiting information and she said dnt worry about that OINP officer is assessing your application.

It's been two weeks now I talked with her but still nothing change. My status is still awaiting information.

It's very very stressful for me too. I am waiting everyday every min since I get up from my sleep to hear something from them.

I am working full time and cnt concentrate on my job because of this stress thinking every min what's going to be happen!

I really dnt know what should I do! it's really killing me. My co worker also find out that I am in depression. I said them really I am worried about this too much every day.

Hey Mahesh,

I can feel you. Don't pay too much concentration into this. It will come one day.

We all have same feeling when we are waiting for something and it doesn't comes up. If your documents are genuine and are in order required by OINP, you will get Nomination for sure. Don't worry!

Take your concentration away from this. Try something new which you like.

Good Luck!;)

Thanks for your info. If I were you I would call OINP and ask for information. When your status changes to Awaiting information it means that I should send something for them in 15 calendar days. Did you check your spam folder in your email? I may call them Monday morning.

Yes, not in spam.
What is the phone I should call? I'll Google it, but if you know it by heart, let me know.
Thanks!

Mahesh, I think you should be patient, all is going well according to your timeline.

I could call them by using this numbers:
Tel | Tél : (416) 327-0374
Fax | Télécopieur : (416) 327-0860

Repeating: When they ask you for additional info, you have only 15 business days. So, call them asap.
