Yayyyyyy! God is good. You are close to the finish line....i got a mail from cic requsting for this info
Ø Schedule A: A separate and newly completed Schedule A Background Declaration form (IMM 5669) bearing an original signature
Ø Additional Family Info IMM5406: A separate and newly completed Additional Family Information form (IMM5406) bearing original signatures
Ø Police Certificate: From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate
I just linked my application but I didn't see the place to upload the documents ,maybe because they requested the documents before I linked my application.I did some investigation as my wife also has to submit her medicals as well as police report, and this is what I found.
When I check the CIC website using the link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5525ETOC.asp#expect , i find the following information:
After linking your application, check your online account for additional information we need to process your application.
If you link your application within 7 days, you’ll find the following in your account:
You may also see a request for other documents or information specific to your situation. We can’t complete processing without the requested information.
- a request to complete and submit a background information form, known as Schedule A.
- a request to submit a police certificates.
So from the above, it means that we need to submit the soft copies of the information requested in our CIC account.
- For each item, a button will appear in your account where you can upload the requested documents or information. Check to make sure you’re uploading the right document into the correct box.
- When you successfully upload a document, you’ll get an electronic confirmation message. Your documents or information will be added directly to your application.
When i check the CIC account, I see the options to upload the two documents which I never found until my wife got the request to do medicals
Hope this helps?
Yes I believe that the reason is because you linked your account after you received the email requesting for documents.I just linked my application but I didn't see the place to upload the documents ,maybe because they requested the documents before I linked my application.
I think you did exactly what's expected.Yes I believe that the reason is because you linked your account after you received the email requesting for documents.
In the letter i got from CIC, they indicated that they wanted the original copies of the police reports and the medicals. My wife did her medicals today at Ikoyi center, Lagos Nigeria but they said they will submit the medicals results for us through the CIC emedicals systems and so we do not have any document except a receipt.
So we have made soft copies of the police reports and the medicals receipt and send soft copies online using the myCIC account option we have to upload the docs as well as also send the original docs by mail to the CIC Accra office as they indicated in the letter we got. This way we cover all areas so they get the documents for sure
that is a long timeOK that's good news.
I applied on August 16th 2016 and no medical request yet.
For the medicals usually it takes up to 10 days they quote you
- I did my medicals on 25th July upon the request of AVO. After two weeks I emailed AVO to find out whether they've received it.They said they are still waiting for the results.I later called IOM(Where I did the medicals),they told me the results has been sent to AVO.I don't know what to do now.I need your advice. Also I want to know how long should it take AVO to receive medical results after the examination. Thank you
if spousal it can take 10 days or soI think it depends on which class you applied under. For spousal it's roughly 2-3 weeks.
