You can become primary applicant and the n , i think you can choose spouse not accopanying . But your marital status will still be married in the application.
Its just your spouse is not part of PR application together with you.

You get maximum points for CLB9, I think.

For CLB 10 we get 3 additional points per ability so 12 more points in CRS.

In FSW/CEC Eligibility CLB 9 is the highest we dont have CLB 10 or CLB 11.

She is better, and still in the hospital. I'm not sure about the details. She texts me when she can, I don't want to bother her since her doctor forbid her to use smartphone and computer.

This is more serious than I thought. Had a similar experience recently. She'll be fine. I pray she bounces back really soon.

Yes. I'm FSW and CLB10 but I got the same points as CLB9.

Ok, this may be a dumb question but so many people seem to have got half marks in their English language test, like 6.5,7.5 and so on. Is this CELPIP scoring? How come there are half marks? Just curious.

For celpip you won't have 0.5s, It's a whole number. And Its out of 12

Ielts is out of 9. So those 0.5s are crucial in placing you in respective clb

If you are doubting in taking celpip or ielts. I'd say IELTS is better because it is more straight forward, all you need is to pay attention. Meanwhile, celpip is more tricky with their multiple choices. Personally, I did both, and ielts scored my English more accurately.

How are you all? Those who received ITA yesterday, I hope you're bracing the moment and all the best for post ITA documentation. Rest of us are hanging in here being hopeful to this wonderful month that has never ceased to amaze me. I hope August brings us loads of ITAs and a new hopes to witness maple leaf visa on our passports.

Apart from this, I have few questions I'd like to ask.

I'm a citizen of India. However, I reside in UK currently. I've got UK PCC dated 6th June 2017 and Indian PCC dated 9th July 2017.

Considering, I receive ITA this month, UK PCC holds a validity of 6 months as I currently reside here. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Also, I got myself Indian PCC from India itself as I was on vacation last month for 3 weeks to see my parents. Now I'm not sure if Indian PCC is valid as document checklist says, it should be issued after I left the country.

Shall I get myself a new Indian PCC from Indian consulate here in UK or the one in my possession is fine?

Adding to this, @Sweetgurl you'll need to submit your husband's medical report, his PCCs and show funds for him as well, even though you choose him as non accompanying.
