I got the NOI on 20th may, but my ielts expired in the next 10 days so thought of giving exam again and then accept the NOI. But see my hard luck they have stopped taking applications. Really feeling low as this was the only hope .
Don't give up hope! I have been feeling really depressed since yesterday because I finally got my documents together and was ready to register and found I couldn't :( But this is intentional and actually a good thing. I posted this in another thread but want to post here as well because I felt better after reading this. Ontario is intentionally pausing and reopening applications to all streams throughout the year in order to ensure that people have a chance to apply throughout the year, rather than allowing all the available nominations to be taken early in the year, which happened last year. I read this on pages 35-36 of this FAQ (page 36-37 in the PDF). I think/hope it's likely they will open it back up later this year, even if we have to wait a few more months. In the meantime, we need to hope and pray for a speedy reopening.

OINP Limit on Application Intake

1) Why is the OINP implementing limit on application intake?

The popularity of the OINP continues to grow. By May 2016, Ontario had received a sufficient number of program applications to fulfill its 2016 allocation. In January 2016 alone, the program received over 1,800 applications. To ensure processing efficiency and quality customer service, the OINP will be monitoring the volume of applications to its Express Entry Human Capital Priorities and International Masters and PhD student streams. These streams will be paused and reopened periodically throughout the year until the province’s 2017 federal allocation is fulfilled. Stakeholders will be informed when streams are temporarily paused and reopened again via the OINP Updates webpage.

2) What is your intake limit and will it apply to all streams?

The OINP is monitoring the intake of applications, and will be responsive to the demand for each of the three streams.

The OINP continues to accept online applications under the Entrepreneur Stream and French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream, and paper-based applications to the Corporate stream. There will be no limit to applications for these streams.

All applications will be processed in the order received.

3) How will I know if the program has reached its application intake limit?

Applicants will be notified in the e-filing system as soon as the intake limit has been met.

At the registration stage, you will receive the following automatic system notice that the program has reached its application intake limit: “Please note that the OINP has reached its registration intake limit for this stream. No new registrations will be accepted for this stream at this time. For more information please visit the OINP website”.

Once the program reaches its application intake limit, you will be unable to complete your registration and the program will not receive any registration information from you.

Individuals are encouraged to monitor the OINP website for updates on intakes to the streams.

I truly understand your situation, but I would say please go ahead with your IELTS. they might open in later time but and if your score for IELTS is more then you really don't t have to wait for PNP, you would rather get ITA directly. so cheers and go ahead.

Well, we are sailing on the same boat trumprefugee . Just after I prepared all the necessary documents, I sit in-front of my desktop and wished me well while registering for one key account. Guess what, fate had other ideas :D

Like you had mentioned, the program hasn't reached it's allocation and they had just kept the program on-hold. They will process all the took applications and will reopen the stream if the allocations were still not met. All we can do is, hoping.

In the work history section, if you expand their notes, it says there that they require a resume.

Hello friends,
I received my OINP in the last 10 days. I was preparing all my documents. Ans now they have stopped application intakes. This breaks my heart as this was my only chance.
Do you guys know how long this stop is for? A week, month, a year? Never?
I understand why this is happening but the nominations are numbered so anyone nominated should have a chance to apply?
For people like me, it was the only thing I was counting on.

Dear Friends, I recently received nomination from OINP. Today i received the nomination certificate. It says that ITA application needs to be submitted within 60 days. IRCC says 90 days. Kindly advise.

I stayed 7.5 months in Abu dhabi for work. I got it's PCC 1.5 years back. I assume that PCC would still be valid. Please advise.

My wife stayed for 5 months and 25 days(5 days less than 6 months). IRCC says that UAE PCC only needs to be obtained for six months or more. Should i try to secure her PCC as well?

I understand how you feel about this ray of hope that we're counting on. Provided that they take about 60 days max to process applications, i would assume that by end of September, they may open it up again if they haven't reached their limit intake. Have faith! They're probably just so overwhelmed with the influx of submissions.

The OINP site has notification as " OINP has reached their registration intake limit. no registrations for these streams can be accepted at this time.
I have accepted the nomination. Is there a chance that I could proceed further?

Please clarify.
Thank you for your quick response. Really helpful. Actually processing via 3rd party. Who mentioned that nomination has been accepted. So was Not clear whether this meant we could proceed further or not
Let me tell you how OINP works.

1) You receive a Notification of Interest in your EE account which is valid for 6 months OR until the quota gets filled for the year (whichever is earlier).
2) Then you register on ONe-Key
3) You now have 14 days to submit your application
4) After submitting successfully, you'll receive a nomination in your EE account.
5) You accept this nomination to get 600 points.

Hope that clears the air for you.

Please read about the immigration process before you hand it over to representatives. They will never care about your application.

If you really dont want to do anything then go for a lawyer who is recognized by IRCC. You'll have to pay more but its worth it. Atleast there are chances that they may not lie to right in the face.

All the best.
