hello everyone,
i want to ask about the police certificate form my country, i have a police certificate from my country since last Sep, i brought this with me whan i came to canada in last Nov. i am gonna send my application , my wife will sponser me , can i submit this police certificate with my application , ? because i called the Embassy to get a new one , they said it gonna take 16 weeks at least
please , i want your advice

This morning received landing interview email, scheduled on July 13. But we are in the States and can't show up, so wrote an email to CIC for rescheduling. Will they arrange the new date like months after?

Nope. Check bp, histen to your chest, vision test, hearing test, get a quick family and personal history, blood work and chest x-ray. The most time we spent was waiting for blood or to see dr Scott

QA is quality assurance. They used to spend time assessing each file for quality. Now they have decided they don't need to do that. They just spot check files after AIP.

one question : my RCMP was directly sent to CPC-M on May 18 by RCMP Ottawa. I don't have any idea whether they received it or not. Do you think CIC should sent an email to me for confirmation or they will sent email directly to RCMP Ottawa?

Nope. Same Ministry. They talk to each other routinely. Nothing to worry about here.

If you haven't been in that country since issuance, then no problem. If they want a new one, they can ask.

I was just wondering if you could help clarify what a letter that i received today means... It says that 'it has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent residency'.

Is this AIP letter?

AIP, congrats! You can now apply for OHIP if you are in Ontario, RAMQ if you are in Quebec.
