So there's going to be an e-mail saying that the documents were effectively added to the application?

I thought that we were gonna hear a decision from them now....

In the same boat as you. Submitted documents that they requested a week after I got an email from them, been waiting 8 weeks so far. Last week I got an email saying they gave it to the officer looking through my application so hopefully we will hear positive news from them soon. I'm also stuck on SA only

Totally get it. I sent them something and waited 45 days . I even called to ask where it went...

I called thrice and agent said still document not uploaded. he said I can affix a note that you submitted that document.

Yes @legolg I'm sure you'll hear good news very soon! You are right in the timeline to get a very good news, hopefully in time for Canada's 150th anniversary!

Congratulations! This is your DM letter.
1. Yes, Etobicoke will contact you to give you an appointment for your landing interview.
2. The letter will list everything you need, usually passport, 2 photos for the PR card, the receipt for the RPRF, and your sponsor will need an ID.
3. Etobicoke is one of the busiest office, it often takes about 8 weeks from DM to landing interview, but some get if faster, like @carolbb23 . The PR card comes 6-8 weeks after the interview, right now on CIC website the processing time is 57 days.
4. No more questions regarding relationship, they gave you DM, so they are satisfied with the proofs you submitted.

Again, congratulations you are very close to the end!

Lucky you. From what I`ve been by my panel physician`s secretary over the phone I will have to pay over 500. Trail, BC - in case anybody wonders where I am taking my medical.

Our MP called us today to let us know that our application is approved and we will be getting the landing letter in 2 weeks.So relieved guys!!

Now will have to arrange the PR travel doc for our trip!!

Take your COPR on vacation. Visit a High Commission or Embassy where you are visiting with it. They issue it there... $50

Visit the high commission in India. In Canada they won't give you a travel document. It's to return only. At landing they'll explain..
