Taking Parental Leave while PR Application in Process

We are exactly in the same position. My wife wants to apply for OINP with a foreign worker stream. She has a job offer, but she will go on about 1-year maternity leave. I hope I find a detailed answer.
Will your maternity leave affected ur OINP application? Can u explain the process if you are aware of ?

Hi! Sorry I just saw your message now. My wife and I got our PR in August 2020. My parental leave did not affect our PR application. I hope this helps.

Hi. While NOI application submission should I tell I will be taking maternity leave or is It fine we can submit the application without mentioning it. I will be going for maternity leave from next month.But will be submitting the application by this week.
Would you please let is know what happened with you? A friend is in a similar Speed Test situation and is interested to know the answer.

Would probably mention the you will be off for the next X number of months especially since you could go into labour at any point now. You can mention your intended leave starts. It gives the impression as being as transparent as possible.

I got nomination in Feb 2024 oinp international student employer job offer stream.
Applied non express entry in march 22nd 2024. During that time I was pregnant but still working. In personal history I mentioned i am still working with the current company.
I went for maternity in May and I got AOR in July ,2024 along with ADR for personal history update. I updated like I am still a worker in my current company. I didn’t mention I was on maternity leave. Does this will impact my application?
But I informed IRCC about my baby is born and uploaded the birth certificate as well. But I was not sure that I should mention about the maternity leave. Does this leads to misrepresentation of my application?
Can someone guide me in this situation?

You need to correct your statement via webform. You are not currently working you are on maternity leave. Yes that could be considered misrepresentation.

I have a plan to travel to home country, in case I get the portal request during my stay outside Canada, when should I return?
I heard we have to submit the p1 request within 7 days? Do I need to be come back within 7 days?
