I have mentioned my IELTS score with you, how much more do you think will help in achieving the above score, and also for French as well.

Use the CRS calculator and see how much more you will increase your score if you max out IELTS. For French, you want to attain B2 - Intermediate/advanced so you need to start immersing yourself in the language. Beginner/basic French is not enough.

Hey everyone, I have a tricky situation: my wife (main applicant) had a job at a company that legally doesn't exist anymore. They've changed a few legal entities now, but the team is the same, operations are the same, and effectively it's the same company but the legal name and the credentials are different. So they won't be able to provide a ref letter from the old legal entity but can do it from the new one. what's the best way to approach this? Should we ask them to make a note in the letter itself or ask for some additional document or just write all of this in the LOE? Thanks!

Let's say your wife's company's new name is ABC LLC, old name was XYZ LLC. The new letter should be from ABC LLC, but the letter wherever it mentions ABC LLC should say "ABC LLC(previously XYZ LLC).

Thanks! Is there any additional evidence/documents that I need to provide to support the claim that ABC LLC is a former XYZ LLC?

One more question: I have worked twice for the very same employer in the very same position but in different time periods (2019-2021 and 2022-now) - do I need two separate reference letters or one is enough? Is there any official info on this case? Thanks!

Hi Everyone,

While filling up the Personal History in EE post ITA, should I split my course into two?
My course started from Jan 2021 till April 2022 (Master's) out of which I have done 4 months of remote learning from India due to COVID scenario and remaining portion I was in Canada. So do I have to account for that in my personal history? Or just add it as one single period?

I applied for my study permit on Nov 2020 and due to COVID , there was exemption that student can complete studies once he applies for study permit till it approved. My study permit approval came in March 2021 and then I travelled in April 2021. I was unemployed during that period and was able to find part time job by June 2021. From Oct 2020, I was unemployed and waiting for the visa process and by Jan 2021 started with studies remotely

So basically how do I tabulate these under personal and travel history?

Hi guys, please I am new here. Please can someone tell me if the electronic signature and declaration is the last stage of the e-APR. I have uploaded all documents that was in my required documents checklist but I didn't encounter any IMM form.

Will they come up after I sign and transmit my application? I am confused. I don't want to make a mistake.

What documents have you submitted so far? Hope you have also uploaded that IME sheet that you received from your upfront medicals.

Thanks so much for responding.
Yes I uploaded that. I was able to do my medicals before the change of policy on upfront medicals on October 1st. However my family are yet to do theirs because of the new policy. I uploaded blank sheets in their placeholders for medicals and explained why in my LOE.

So far, I have uploaded passports for myself and my family with all visa and stamp pages , passport photos, bank statement and reference letter, employment documents, all education documents with ECA and IELTS, marriage certificate, change of name documents, adoption documents, police character certificate for my country.

I didn't see any IMM form raised for me to fill anywhere.
