Here are the results of Canada's most recent Express Entry draw on October 12, 2022.

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued 4,250 invites to Canadian permanent resident hopefuls in the latest all-program draw — including candidates in the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), and the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP).

This latest draw invited candidates with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 500, down four points from the draw that took place on September 28th, 2022 (minimum CRS score of 504).

Canada's next Express Entry draw will be conducted in roughly another two weeks' time.

About Express Entry

Express Entry is the main method used by Canada's federal government to bring international skilled workers to this country through permanent residence.

Express Entry, rather than denoting an immigration program itself, is simply the online system used to manage skilled worker applications from the following programs: the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), and the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP).

To apply for permanent residence via Express Entry, the first step is determining eligibility for the CEC, the FSWP and/or the FSTP. After determining eligibility, qualified applicants must submit an online profile with IRCC and check their CRS score.

A candidate's CRS score will determine if they will receive an invitation to apply (ITA), after which invited applicants will have 60 days to complete and submit their electronic application for permanent residence (eAPR) in Canada.
