"Your passport status", is mention on VFS site after tracking the number.

Is there anything like " Your passport status" mention in your online status after submitting passport to VFS delhi?
Please share your experience.

Hi,

Yeah, it shows like "Your passport status". Once it is received and processed by Visa office, they will update the status as something like "Some action is taken on your application. It is sent to your Visa office". not sure abt the exact wording. If you have applied through agent, get in touch with your agent to know the latest status. Because, Visa office wont say what is the status whether your Visa is stamped or not.

The online status for my application has also been changed as follows.

"Your Passport Status"

And i received email from VFS office stating,

"Dear USMAN, Visa application,tracking ID No.20160216AEACTRV48290 Your correspondence has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office, Abu Dhabi on 24/02/2016 to the Canada Visa Application Centre. Please note this is an auto generated e.mail. Please do NOT reply to this email.. "

I was told by VFS representative, that usually if embassy wants to give visa, they send an email directly to the applicant and request for original passport to bring and stamp visa. Otherwise its always a Refusal.

Is that true ? going to collect the correspondence in evening.

Any suggestions before that ?

yes, once you received the tracking number, give it sometime, you will see your updated status.
mine is like the following now:
"Visa application, tracking ID No.20160222xxxxxxxxxx is being processed at the Canada Visa Office, .To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website. "
