If someone can please guide me, helping out a family friend.

Her situation, she has a visitor visa in Canada, here since 2024 from Spain. In 2024 she had a work permit, that expired april 2025 due to not getting a job. She is married, her spouse is on a work permit (expiring april 2027). They have a small baby who is Canadian.

She has a job lined up as a marketing/admin specialist, with room to grow within the company.

Would applying through a young professional be the best path?

Thanks in advance, I will contnue to read through different forums - feel free to send forums that might be of benefit.

A visa doesn’t give her status in Canada so does she have a visitor record and has she been able to extend it and when does it expire? How did she get a work permit in 2024? What kind of work permit is her husband on and when did he arrive in Canada? How old is she? Is the employer willing to participate in the program? Does she have $2500? Is she a Spanish resident?

Thank you so much for the reply.

Shes currently here as a tourist, which I know she is renewing. In 2024 she got it as a working holiday permit. Her husband and her came together (not married at that time), they were both on working holiday, he later got his extended through his workplace using LMIA employer.

They both have spanish passports. She has a university degree. Her husband and her are contributing members of society. She does have a job offer but since she doesnt have a permit the employer said she needs to obtain one, they are willing to sign/participate in the program.

She is 28 yrs old, strong english, has a degree from a recognized university. She has about 10k in savings, which is from her husbands employment (strong employment, I believe he is in the trades).

Thanks again for you valuable feedback.
