Year of award conflict in wes form

I have mentioned 2006 as my year of award in my WES form as I passed out in 2006.
But I got my degree certificate only on 2008 and the same date was mentioned at the bottom left corner in the degree certificate.
When I received the sealed envelope from university,I checked with the section officer and she said they have written year of award(under officials area in the wes form) as 2008.
Will this conflict in year of award dates in the same form create confusion when WES evaluates?
Bit worried!

Generally they mention the year of pass out in the degree certificate right.. Like so and so passed out this year. How can that be wrong?

In the degree certificate main body, they have mentioned I have passed the examination held in May 2006.
That's all.
At the bottom area,place and date(April 2008) are mentioned along with University seal.That's how it will look like.
When I asked section officer,she said although I have passed in 2006, certificate was awarded only in 2008.So that's why they are sticking to 'Year of award' as 2008.

Hello,

Can someone please help me with my year awarded on wes application online.
I did my B.Com from 2001-2004, and got the Degree in 2005. Will my year awarded be -2004 or 2005??

Based on the answer given in help center of WES, it is the year in which you have passed your final degree exam. Hope everyone got their issue resolved.

final semester exam or final reappear exam ?? And what about years attended in case of reappears normal duration or duration till final reappear exam given
