awww..... I am so happy for you :)

Your bitter-sweet moments dealing with CIC are coming to an end and it's the best news I can hope and wish for you and your hubby.

Just hang in there and have a little more faith and believe in god. They do listen to our prayers.

My faith in God is what has kept me going. Even when I am hanging by a thread He kept me and keeps me hanging on and hanging in. Thank you Jesus :)

A word of caution against false hopes (and subsequent disappointment) may be timely here.

My wife's case was "being processed" as of December 2010, but as of March the embassy told me that her application was still "waiting for review". So "processed" does not mean that an officer is actively working on the application. It might just be sitting on an officer's desk.

So, I really hope you get an answer quickly, but be prepared emotionally for a wait.

I have been going through this long enough to know that its not the end 9of the wait. This has been a long longggggg process for me and my husband. We have been through an appeal and I got the information from the MP's office today that they have sent out the forms for medical redo and pcc etc. Its a start, but not fooled that it will happen over night. But after 1 1/2 years I am celebrating this very small victory.

I guess the old saw "the key to happiness is to reduce your expectations" really applies when dealing with CIC.

(Actually, that may not be an old saw; it might be a new one, or I may have made it up. I forget. :-X )
