wrote wrong type of organization?

Hi everyone,

First of all, thank you for what everyone posts on here. It's seriously life-saving!!

Quick question:

On the spousal sponsorship background/declaration form, I volunteered for a student organization for a few months that tried to lobby MPs of parliament in Canada for rights in other parts of the world. When writing it on my application, I categorized it as a student organization (because it was a chapter at my university, in Canada). Should I have categorized it as political? Do you think this is a big deal?

whoops! i mean, I wasn't part of the campus chapter but i was part of the national organization, as a student at a university in Canada. If it's put down as a student organization, does that mean it's misrepresentation??
