Wrote Canadian Citizen by Descent instead of Naturalized Canadian

I realized I made a mistake in my form! I wrote that I'm a citizen by descent. The reason I made this mistake is because I got my citizenship as a minor from my parents and I was born outside Canada. But I wasn't born to Canadian citizen parents. They became citizens after I was born. Should I inform CIC of this error?
