Is there any point in me emailing to explain my clumsy error in hopes of them reopening my case saving me money and more importantly time?

I'm also worried if I don't explain myself they will think i was trying to hide something and it will affect my next application

Not much point in emailing them I'm afraid, it was a mistake on your side.

Don't worry about it impacting a future application - unless you deliberately gave them false information, this wouldn't be counted as misrepresentation.

You can raise a CSE and explain the mistake. If you have screenshots or any evidence, attach it as well. Many people have had their cases reopened on th forum. It never hurts to try.

Thanks for all your advice but I might as well just start again, the draw is on Wednesday after all so I'm not sure it would even save me any time. I put in my new LOE that I am sorry for the mistake and that it was genuine and not me trying to dodge the truth.

At least you will get an ITA again. There were a couple of devastating stories of ppl with crs 420-430 who got ita last may/June and their agent screwed it up without uploading correct pcc. They will never get an ITA again

Worth writing to them imo. Something similar happened to me back in the 2000s and I never emailed them back, to my continuing regret.

It happend to me also but this one is a little different. They asked me to provide PCC last dec 5, 2017 then we gathered everything and we followed the instructions how to send the PCC vial email so i sent the PCC vial email then I got comfirmation from IRCC. Then 2 weeks ago I got refusal letter due to not providing the PCC which is not true coz I already sent the PCC via email. And then I was emailing them like everyday and calling them that they have to reopen my application because this is not my mistake. So I've waited 2 weeks then finally I got an update stating that my application is back to in process. So Im hoping this time will get the PPR.
