Wrong VISA Expiration Date.

I updated my new offer letter of Fall 2021 intake to IRCC on 27th Jan, and received the acknowledgement mail from IRCC for the reception of documents.

Today when i got my visa stamped the expiry date of visa is 31/12/2021, whereas my study will get over on 30/04/2022.

So, what should i do now, will CBSA officer will grant me the study permit beyond the visa expiry date.

They don't issue study permits beyond the passport expiring date. All you need to do is renew the passport then extend the permit later.

I see. Visas usually just for re-entry. And most times, they usually issue study permit with the same expiring date. If you are concerned, you can either raise the webform or, during the POE, when they issue you with the same expiring date, ask them what you need to do.

i think u would have to extend ur study permit later... I THINK... im not an expert but i have seen some students extend their visa because of such reason...
