Wrong request for Polices Certificates...any adviced????

Hello guys,

I received an email from CIC requesting Police Certificates from United Kingdom for my wife and me. We never lived there before. I lived 18 months in London, Ontario, Canada. Anyone else have received some similar? What should be do to fix this mistake???

Contact the CIC center and speak to an agent immediately. They'll advise you on whom to contact (by email, probably) to cancel this request.

I sent an email to Canadian Embassy in Mexico last week but I'm still waiting what should I do. I live in Venezuela and I used to live in Canada since nov 2003 until July 2005

Try sending them a fax if email doesn't work effectively. But do not overload communication.

Hi,
I had the similar situation. I was in USA but my wife never. They asked for FBI report from USA for her. I send them fax and email stating that she never been USA, do I still need FBI report?
Two weeks no reply then send another email that are they satisfied with previous email. And they reply back "that requirement waived". BTW, my VO was Buffalo
