I applied yesterday for an LMIA-exempt work permit from outside Canada.

I uploaded the wrong IMM1295 form. I wrote my last name next to my name on the given name cell, so my name is now wrong, with the last name repeated. The biometric instruction letter was issued with the wrong information.

I submitted the corrected IMM1295 via the IRCC web form under the “add a document to your application” option.

How long will it take to fix this and get a new biometric letter? Is it faster if I request a withdrawal and then make a new application?

I need the visa as soon as possible, so I would appreciate advice on what to do.

Thank you

CNC machining plays a key role in modern manufacturing by producing highly precise and complex components. It is widely used in automotive, aerospace, and industrial production for consistent and reliable output. Many industries rely on CNC Machining Services for high precision parts and consistent quality in mass production. This process ensures efficiency, reduced waste, and improved accuracy compared to traditional machining methods. Overall, it supports modern engineering needs by delivering durable and precisely engineered components.
You did the right thing by submitting the corrected form through the IRCC web form. Usually, IRCC will attach it to your file and review it during processing, which can take a few days to a few weeks. A small name error like that often doesn’t stop you from using the current biometric letter, as long as your passport details match closely. Withdrawing and reapplying is not faster and can actually delay things more, so it’s better to wait for IRCC to process the correction and update your application.

Choosing the right haircut can make a big difference in balancing facial features and enhancing overall style. For those with a distinctive hairline, exploring best hairstyles for men with widow’s peak hairline can help highlight natural structure in a flattering way. Styles like textured crops, side parts, and medium-length layered cuts often work well to complement the peak rather than hide it. A well-chosen style can also add confidence and a more polished appearance. The key is to work with the natural hairline instead of against it
Don’t withdraw and reapply. Since you already submitted the corrected IMM1295 via the IRCC web form, the officer will usually just update your file and issue a new Biometric Instruction Letter once processed. This typically takes a few days to a few weeks depending on workload. Reapplying would likely delay things more because it restarts the process. Just monitor your IRCC account and email for the updated BIL.
