Hi everyone

I made a mistake in the company name and I put the wrong address of my Canadian work experience in my EE profile, I have now received my ITA, it was a genuine mistake and doesnt effect my points whatsoever.

Can I just edit my profile post ITA and add a LOE explaining the mistake?

To be more specific I put XX Recruitment instead of XX Specialist Recruitment (Canada) Inc. and put there main Toronto address instead of the office in North York where my employment letter was issued. I am paid through this recruitment agency and contracted out to another company thats why I mixed it up.

Please help.

Suggest you put in the correct name and address in the PR application and include an explanation in the LOE section of the PR application. I had a similar problem with employers trading style being different from their actual company names and group companies managing payroles. An explanation in my LOE sufficed and wasn't queried.

Great thank you so much. There was also a small typo in my job title, I put technican instead of technician.

I've edited this, do I need an LOE for such a tiny mistake?

I have a similar question..

I just realized that I had a mistake in my work experience in my EE profile (pre ITA), it showed one job from 2018 till today, however the correct thing is that it's from 2018 till 2022 at a self employed job (my company but wasn't established yet), and 2022 onwards at the same company but with establishment paperwork.

The thing is, the name on the wrong job was for a my current company, which hadn't existed in 2018 yet.

My NOC is still the same, working duration isn't affected, no change in CRS points, and I have experience letter from my client showing both durations and the bank statements showing the money transferred each month.

Can someone advise if this is considered misrepresentation or is it just a mistake that won't be asked about?

Thanks in advance.
