hi there,

My OWP says:
"Unless authorized, prohibited from attending any educational institution and taking any academic, professional or vocation training course."

I am thinking of taking French classes at a community centre. I guess I am not allowed to take it given the above condition?

I know I could just call the CIC and ask but I guess they are on lunch break or something and my phone cannot go through.

If anyone here can help me out, that would be appreciated

If the course is less than 4 months then you can do it .

The idea is that you won't get any official professional/academic training, you don't need to take it to the extreme - attending any community activities is not prohibited.
