WP / SP refusal - what does "leave immediately" mean

I had applied for my WP extension and for extention of SP for my children studying in university. The refusal letter says leave Canada immediately.

My daughter has an exam today. Does that mean she cannot give this exam?

I will need time either to reapply or wrap up the entire house. What does immediately mean and what can I do?

Did your daughter also get her SP extension refused? You are required to leave as soon as possible. Canada is somewhat reasonable and doesn’t expect most people will be able to leave right away. You should aim to leave as soon as possible but would aim for at least within 30 days.

Both the children's SP got refused as they were dependents at tbe time I submitted their SP renewal application. My daughter is in her last year of tbe program at tbe University.

Immediately means just that but within a few weeks. She has no status so cannot study. She could take the exam but means nothing. If her study permit expired more than 90 days ago then she can not restore status. What are her plans since can no longer study until approved. Maybe school can let her finish online outside of Canada to graduate.

You should leave within 30 days. You have to stop working immediately and your children are no longer authorized to study, effective immediately.

If you want to try to stay, that would involve either trying to appeal the decision or applying for restoration. On what basis did you apply for the extension and why was it refused?
