Hello,

I have a job offer and we're going to apply the WP Gts with upfront med exam.

Is it possible to take medical exam only by myself and start the process only for me. And my wife will take the medical exam after several month and apply to sowp?

Or we should take med exams together even if I'll land to CA alone and she will join later?

Does it matter to send case to work permit without dependent (I want postpone their medical exams)? Or it'll affect to receive open work permit for my wife?

You can apply separately. So yes, it's certainly possible for only you to take the medical and apply at this time.

She can take the medical and apply for the SOWP later.

It shouldn't. The decision on whether a SOWP is approved or not is usually based on other factors such as demonstrating ties to the home country, proof of funds, etc.

If my first offer day in September. Does it make start my process right now. Or it'll be a lot better wait until April, and complete Med Exam/start the process those days (together with all dependents)?

Or it may take longer than 5 months I just care about this. It's a reason why I thinking start process for myself by my own asap.

I don't know what you mean by "first offer day".

Ah, sorry I meant my JobOffer starting date in 15 of September, so I'll land in Canada in Septeber.
