Hello guys, I applied for a Visitor Visa from NY, USA, the following is my timeline.

1. Submitted Application 15th April
2. Done with Biometrics on 2nd May

I had an "Application Updated" on the 9th of May but nothing since. How much longer do ya'll think it may take for me to get a Passport request letter, I have flight tickets booked for the 30th of May.

Appreciate any input.

Has your file started eligibility review and background check? You can raise a webform & ask for update. IRCC suggests not to book flights until approved.

Yes it has started, currently "in progress". I booked flights hoping it wouldn't take so long for the visa, is there anything else I can do to expedite the process? I've already sent them a webform regarding the same and have not received a reply to that either.

No way to expedite. All you can do is wait. Maybe call IRCCthrough VPN & ask for status update.
