working while on restoration

i know i can't work under out of status. the thing is my visa is refused in June 18th. But i got noticed by mail in June 22nd.
So in this situation my question is
Q. Is there any problem if i worked between June 18th ~ June 22nd??

You need to stop working as soon as you find out the visa was refused. You would not likely be in serious trouble for working between the time your visa was refused and when you received notice.

Assuming, of course, that you have no electronic access to the file (hence the mail)
