Dont know if its fake news or not but i heard that CIC has a lot of problems with international sudents violating the terms of their study permit
.they have now set up a special office to catch bad students.
Its not fair to students who obey their permits.

Sad that it's always that one community breaking the laws and making it difficult for other immigrants.

There is a unhealthy habit of parents and/or their children wanting their to go abroad, by any means necessary.

This results in many students joining programs that neither they or their parents can afford.

It gives a bad name to the reputation of students from that particular country/community. I feel bad for the student in the article, but both him and his family put themselves in this situation.

Unfortunate but its the logs and it sounds like he admitted it to the officer, when in any serious legal trouble always ask to speak to a lawyer no matter how much they insist you speak to them, don't make any statements to authorities by yourself.

I feel he though that what he had done was not a big issue or a crime, legally at least. I can't believe his parents sent his brother as well, when they can afford to pay for his tuition, and expected him to support his brother. Mind blowing.

Lol he made up some bs story to avoid the ban. They can very well afford to pay the tution.
